The Real Her

A girl with grace and style
A girl with passion in her smile
A girl that needs no social media to accompany her lifestyle
I am authentic
First name Shacarra Last name Bennett

Roses are red violets are blue
Most girls need love so they post things on social networks to look a fool
Screaming "Selfies on fleek this going on IG "
Meanwhile, you can't pack me in a box like Barbie
Distribute me on the shelf and label me.
I am who God created me to be.

My beauty has no price
My beauty needs no likes
I don't have to hide behind foundation to feel right
I don't have to curl my lashes to create problems longer than your insecurities
I don't have to groom my brows and add concealer for love to consume me
True love consumes my being
It's the glory of God when His arms wrap around me
He is the verified one that needs everyone following
No mention will keep me for seeing the true meaning of me

Look at what society is allowing
Everyone has to roll with the trend
And if not I guess that means no ones your friend
But in the end
You must account for yourself
When God comes back
There's no foundation to pack on myself to cover up the blemishes of life
And when He comes for you
He's not going off of your instagram likes
Most times
People like your picture more than you love yourself

A girl with grace and style
A girl with passion in her smile
A girl that needs no social media to accompany her lifestyle
I am authentic
