read me like a ladder

jump.

But I say

down a ladder.

They say you have to climb

Do not conform.

you mustn’t let it.

It tries to shape you;

that it claims you.

Maybe you never noticed

feel.

think,

say,

It tells you what to do,

Society claims you.

exactly how they tell you to.

You even read

you learned from them.

All that you do

read me like a ladder.

and

go back

If you still do not believe,

This poem is about:
Our world
