The poor have plenty of mouths to feed,
But have no money in their pockets.
They have wounds that bleed,
But no way to stop it.

A man is better poor with integrity,
Than rich with crookedness,
And whoever mocks the poor,
Also mocks Him who made you with His goodness.

He can feed thousands with two fish and five bread,
He even knows the number of the hairs on your head.
He feeds the ravens who neither reap nor sow.
He takes care of the lilies so even they grow.
So you must see that this much is true:
He will always take care of His children no matter what they do.

By sending you and me,
He will help those who are in need.
Those with more worldly possessions,
Can provide for those who don’t possess them.
God says if you bless the poor than He will bless you,
If we ignore it, it won’t get any better, that much is true.
