A Radical's Love of Creation

It’s the meticulous details of the leaves,

Every new wind pattern through the trees,

Each break of waves upon the seas,

That give me joys like these.

It’s the violet sunset in the sky,

Every peaceful meadow where daisies lie,

Each puffy cloud that passes on by,

That make me feel alive.

It’s the morning bird’s song I hear,

Every graceful characteristic of the deer,

Each raindrop falling like a tear,

That show Earth’s beauty near.

It’s the methodical way flowers grow,

Every current in the river flow,

Each twinkling of the moonlight glow,

That tell of nature’s awesomeness,

Of which I know.
