Racism

Look we are a like, You and I

We both have hearts, We both have eyes

We both have families, suportive or not

we both shiver in the cold, sweat when its hot

We are born the same way, and with the same needs

we both need a place to sleep and something to eat

Why then can we not get along

Do you truly belive my skin color is wrong

Do you truly belive my skin makes me  faster

Or that its a sign that i am the lesser

Do you truly believe I mean you harm

My skin is better, I have more charm?

Does my skin make me smarter, does it make me strong

Does it make me breath deaper, or have better lungs

Does it make me gain or lose my humanity

All of of these notions begot by  insanity

The skin is nothing, it's whats inside

My Mind, spirit, moral, and pride

I am as good as any, Nothing more, nothing less

I am a child born by god, and i am truly blessed

We may be diffrent color, but we are still the same

We all have a purpose, a reason, and a name

The only diffrence between You and I

Is i make others smile, You make them cry
