Queen

Am I supposed to hate
The pigment of my skin
Is it not pretty enough
White enough
Light enough
Smooth enough
Enough is enough
The illusion of beauty
Beauty standards we look
For gratification
For assistance
For authority
For what is deemed beautiful
Beautiful hmm
Is not supposed
To base on the pigment of my skin
As we all claim to love one another or do we
Ignorance breeding weeds in the souls of descendants of eve
Hatred loading into brains in those who do not seek peace

but wait
All I hear is change
Change!
Is one thing to preach?
Haha I see a lot of preaches
But, do you lead
Leading for prosperity
Lead towards the truth
Lead towards justice
Lead building ambitions
Lead the future

WELL, do you?
Lead my leader as you are the future of the earth
That the lord has bestowed upon we
Yes we
Yes us
Us the nation
That is pleading for Queens
