Puzzle Pieces

One thousand pieces spread across the table;

Completely overwhelmed with where to start.

At first look, they blend among the others,

But different shades are obsolete to the norm.

Shades of green pleasingly lay with the grays

While hues of yellow look like shades of gold.

Orange and pink clash among the scattered mix,

While red and blue pose an intriguing look.

Some colors are exposed more than the others;

Shown more of are greens, grays, yellows and golds.

Less and few are the ones of complex hues,

But two stand out vibrantly and whole.

Clashing greys rarely piece with the shades of gold.

Masses of green pair well with complex whites.

Yellows and greys are surprisingly nice,

But none are stunning like the reds and blues.
