Push & shove

 

Luke 12:1 

12 Meanwhile, when many thousands of the crowd had gathered so that

they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples …

 

Oh it is so simple ... when you want to get to Christ

You run, push and shove ... to get in the front line

 

You want to hear what He says ... and if you like it

You possibly will use it ... and otherwise just whine

 

You want to see Him from up close ... maybe just touch Him

So you can tell everyone ... what you experienced that day

 

You are special now in your thoughts ... better than all others

The ones, who did not push and shove ... and just went their way

 

To get a glimpse of beauty ... of love and understanding

Of One Who lived before ... and spoke of truth and life

 

To show the way to reach it ... by giving help to needy others

And bringing them close to Him ... just letting self pass by
