I realized I was grown

When I no longer prayed.

I figured out, that I

Didn’t need God's hand and

That I didn’t have to

Impress people that aren’t

Me. I figured out that

I only needed to

Appreciate me.

The moment I knew that

I only needed me

To make myself happy.

I found out that I just

Needed to make me proud.

When I knew no one else

deserves to revel in

my hard work other than

me. My hard work isn’t
