A Proclamation

I cannot believe it, but yet I knew this would happen
This time of my life was like a map unwritten
The directions are there, just smeared in the years
You are the author of my story, narrator and all
I’m simply the one who has to follow what you wrote
Dancing day and day on life’s plank, taking risk for your name
Sacrificing some, but not enough
Evangelizing here, but can do more anywhere
I’m here to proclaim how amazing is thy name
God, the creator of this life I’m in, saved me from sin
He made me and He can take me away
But for now I’m here to stay
Stay and be what he created me to do
To walk the shoes that fight right for me
Now, what about you?
