The Princess Poetry Part 8

Your strong little princess

Is trembling like a leaf

Her crown is gradually cracking

As her throne decays underneath

Slowly but surely

She’s falling apart

Tremors envelope her being

As thoughts fill her head

Your princess’s fairytale

Is turning quite dark

She murmurs words

To keep the demons away

But her defenses are failing

And her stronghold is breaking

The siege is almost over

The throne is crumbling

The crown is shattered

And your princess is nowhere to be found
