Prince Dependent

Once upon a time

Cinderella doesn’t get a job and leave home

Snow White’s dwarves are her lysosomes

Rapunzel keeps reaching for that comb

Girl, grab some scissors and chop it off

When things get hard, all Ariel does is take off

Once upon a future

Learn to be independent

Never ever be dormant

Don’t wait for that prince

Life keeps throwing you hints

The Prince you’re waiting for isn’t there

There is nobody in this world that gives or cares

Only you can make your happy ending

Your future is still pending

Make that dream come true

The only prince you’ll find is you

Once upon a future

Cinderella gets a job and leaves home

Snow White is her own lysosome

Rapunzel still does need that comb

Her hair, she eventually did chop it off

When things got hard Ariel didn’t take off

Once upon a time

You may have been reliant

Those dreams may seem giant

Those dreams will be resplendent

But you don’t have to be Prince-dependent
