prideful death

as you break from your chains, the light shines through

you bless the cosmos and make your escape

the wind holds you back but you stride on with pride

no way to prepare for the issues inside

you take your revenge and you lie there alone

waiting still as a bat whose thirst has just grown

alone in the dark, you see your reflection

the image attacks and haunts with no mercy

you scream and you yelp, no way to go back

for the time has long past and you stray from all paths

within yhour head all evil brews

attacking your soul and leaving it bruised

avoiding all help, doing it yourself

no patients in your eyes, no will to survive

they just want to help, but you won't let them try
