pretty little girl

Location

Pretty little girl

with pretty little eyes

with a scary life

that society denies.

Pretty plastic smile,

with pretty plastic hopes.

A pretty little finger

let go to the broken rope.

A pretty little body

on the concrete floor.

A pretty little girl

who won't be hurt anymore.

A pretty little soul

that was torn from the world.

Pretty little scars ran down her arm

from past pretty little secrets of self harm.

And the pretty little girl

won't move from the floor

because of her pretty little heart

that's not beating anymore.

And as her mom closes

her pretty little eyes,

she clutches her pretty

little girl and cries.
