They bite, they hack

Limbless, they'll abandon you

To a fate in the murky waters

 

No, not the sharks

They're not the predators, not this time.

It's the fishers

The Shark Finners

 

They bite and hack

It is they who will abandon the sharks

Limbless

To a fate in the murky waters

 

But who knows of this fate?

Most know of the horror Hollywood portrays 

But not the true story

No one will speak against the true predators of the sea

 

To make any film would be a dream come true

But to tell the tale of the sharks

To speak for the voiceless

That would be a calling fulfilled

 

No matter what it takes

I will need the equipment to do so

And the road will not be easy

But if I suceeded...

 

Maybe it would cause an outrage

Perhaps, with enough persistence

The sharks and the oceans could be saved

And mankind might have a change in heart

 

To speak for those who cannot be heard

Through the visual arts

That is my dream
