Look at your life, now reflect back
What would you rid rather fict or fact?
Concentrate, were you aware?
Or did you just not care?
Perhaps you overlooked
The tears in her eyes, the pain in her heart,
Simple feelings that you mistook.
Her crushed pride, seem peculiar?
The deepening dent in her stride, sound familiar?
The mistakes were repeated redundantly
And she was cut down abundantly.
The years past, one by one.
She wasn't built to last, now she was done.
She started out life great,
And ended with a terrible fate.
She stumbled but resumed an optimistic state.
Only then to be consumed with hate.
Who's to blame, well aren't we all?
We set the standard then expect them to fall.
She couldn't finish a sentence.
You judged her on false pretense.
If only she had learned about the respect she automatically earned,
But here is what I say to you
For it is what we can only do.
When someone speaks you listen to the end
It's the best I can recommend.
If someone can't look you in the eye,
You make sure you stop and say hi.
In your best power, give that final try.
