Poseidon's Wrath

Sun, 07/28/2019 - 16:18 -- Poemed

Podeidon, king of the sea.

Realm of fish, crustacions, and cephalopods, but humans? Nah, not for thee.

I offer you lots of fish.

But, I have one simple wish.

Stop dumping your toxic waste.

And for this, I need you to make haste.

Why you ask?

It is too tedious of a task?

Because my subjects are dying,

and their mothers are crying.

All this plastic is chocking us up,

but you don't care as long as you get your disposable cup.

If you keep poisoning my domain,

I will show you why I reign.

By the death of my people and the flow of their blood,

I will drown you all in a massive flood.
