Politics through my eyes

I have rotted in the ground
Beaten by the howler’s hounds
Galvanized another bound
And, I escaped it

I did look upon the sky
Laying there as I died
Reached forth to rub my eyes;
They fell out of my sockets

They then grew into a tree,
And my eyes evolved to leafs
Abstinence of food, I plea,
To God in the sky

Vacant organ I threw forward
Then to the tree, I drew toward,
Grabbed on the bark from which I poured:
I ate my eyes.
