Poisonous Eyes
When love is proclaimed with poisonous eyes
And no contrast in lust and heart do fare,
If trust has force demand, it morphs to lies,
Then what was love becomes a weight to bear.
When stress divulges its grim, wryly sneer
Within a package sweetly tied and bowed,
Then clarity comes in the midst of fear,
That fear’s disturb to love only erodes.
When partnership becomes false possession,
And is presumed, not pursued with passion,
Then love mutates to form an airtight prison.
Once smiling faces, lost from hope, fall ahsen.
But transformation forms no love that's true,
For true love is what I have found in you.
