The Poetic Arts

Location

Passion poured from the tip of a quill

A man's heart consumed by the thrill

As every line of poetry spoke

for all the words he would otherwise choke

And all around the Readers listened

As the Poet's Writing Revolution was christened

Though at first they might think its strange

but here and now, the World shall change

For Poets stitched their souls in their work

Financial compensation, just merely a perk

For when the words said things the hearts wish they could

Readers would smile, cause they understood

Emotion and feelings became a shared Taboo

As if reader and Author were the only two

Poetry became so much more than an Art

the day we learned it was key to the heart
