As an itty bity girl my father was my hero
As a little tiny girl he was an eleven on a scale from ten to zero
As a childish girly girl we did whatever I wanted
Little did that small girl know her fairytale was haunted
As an older wiser girl I wish to be more ignorant
Ignorance is bliss they say when you’re living in it
As an older broken girl I want those play days back
But as an older stubborn man, I get from him just a smack
I miss the days of innocence, the ones I barely knew
What a weak and sad old man the alcohol has brewed
