The thing that gets me confused is when i see us being used

Not from our counterparts but from the things we do

Never good but bad it seems we strive for nothing far

But rather just for the most veiws on WorldStar

Bloodshed and laughs from predomiantly blacks

We wish to uphold our cultue but upload nothing like that

Now I can't be too holy myself for I have seen and laughed too

But one day it hit me while watching a kid getting humiiated, "what if that was my nephew?"

Or my child or brother, sister or mother

And then it hit harder when i saw a gunshot and a murder

It saddens me from the prespective of black panthers, real hip hoppers, Malcom X and Reverand King

That as a culture of blacks we now seem to care less of what is moral and more about creating a scene

Then go on the same website and say how "we" should do better

But when the lights shut off, are back to horrendous activities and self-deprecating endeavors

Now as I said before I am no angel by far

But the last thing that I will never do again is post, look or visit WorldStar
