Bullies

We celebrate the coming down of them

But why can't we stand equal, as one of them?

I can't stand them anymore!

All the pain and hearts with sores

Now, I don't understand

People encourage us to take a stand

But what if your scared? Afraid of the pain?

The fear that sores through your veins?

Some people are brave

Which their own lives they saved

They might be bigger

which, emotions they've triggered

But you have to be strong!

Tell them it's wrong!

What if it was you?

I'd bet you'd hurt too

No feel of empathy

Not even a bit of sympathy

I was the one you teased

But you were pleased

knowing it was not you but me

I asked you please to stop

But you act as if you didn't know what that means

You hurt me a ton!

Even before I was ten!

I think you do it for power

Just to knock me down my tower

I stand higher than you!

No matter what you do

You put me down but I rise back up

Are you happy? satisfied?

Looking down on people who have cried

I will no longer cry, weep or shed a tear

I have the strength that now got me here
