The world is so big and I am so small

I just want to find a place within it all

I am neither here nor there

Rather, I am here and there

I am sad and I am happy

I am satisfied and I am dissatisfied

I know I can do it; I just need to find my place within it all

I’m growing and I’m learning

I’m scared but I’m excited

I’m approaching new things,

Turning the pages

And they say I have time, but I don’t get it

I am running out of time to find my place within it all

I take a step back and I look at the world
