A place where most people fear,

A place where most people scurry away,

Is the place I feel at most peace.

The stories take advantage of it,

Hiding the monsters and ghouls,

Tricking children's minds to stay away and run in fear.

But it is the place I feel at most peace.

It is the moment before dawn,

You will always see it when you shut your eyes,

It's a place of complete emptiness and solitude,

But it is the place I feel at most peace.

It is a place I will never fear for it shows me comfort,

I know no creature hides behinds its vail for it is a void of my very own mind. 

Though it is only me in the vast hallow way,

The darkness is the place I feel at most peace.
