Personality

John 8:36 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. Personality

Oh, my personality ... where do you reside?

And how for goodness sake are you expressed?

Are you close in character and in whom do you confide?

Are you the best and worst in me ... where do you get the rest?

Are you a floating entity ... looking at my “me”?

Are you deep within ... clinging to my surface?

Are you ever left behind ... in whom I might have been?

Are you just a part of me with no particular purpose?

I am like me this is what I know ... but others see me different.

Am I the “me” I like to be ... or just fooling myself?

If I could be, who I ought to be ... why then is there a hindrance?

Unless the “me” that I can’t see ... is canned and hidden on a shelf?

God knows the “me”, I am.

I don’t recognize “me”.

Oh! The “me” I seldom see

the one whom God set free.
