Personal Storm

Sun, 08/03/2014 - 12:12 -- cnd003

I tried to balance

The pressures from a distance

In safety

But the winds pulled

At my current until I

Was sucked in

The eye, at first, was

The most beautiful thing I

Had ever seen

When it passed,

I swam furiously

To get back

It knocked me

As down as I

Could go

So I swam

Away with no intention

To return

And now that my pool

Is calm, I see all the dust

It stirred

And I am

Left to clean it up

Alone
