Goddess of spring
Jewel of Demeter
They say you were walking
In a field that was flowering
And that Hades stole you away

But were you really taken?
Or did you simply run?
It doesn't seem like his way
And Demeter was protective.
Did you want freedom?

The world's sweetest pastel
Ran with the God of underworld and hell?
What a story to hear
Not one to tell little girls
Who must behave
But such an independent change
To the whispered tale.
