People's Passions

Sat, 08/01/2015 - 19:20 -- kbball3

People's passions pave their way.
People's passions make my day.

There is no way to describe the beauty in the stroke of a violin,
The roll of playful words off a child's tongue.

The movement of a ballerina floating swiftly across the floor,
A person deeply breathing in the fresh Colorado air.

The pen's relationship between the paper and the point,
The impeccable condition of a collector's coins.

Who can explain the feeling of looking up at the stars
And knowing there is a God who holds you in His arms.

How vivid is the joy in a painter's brush,
the beauty of the colors in the setting sun.

The melodious tune of the bird's morning song
Can't keep a smile away for long.

How does a sweetly played note
Compare to the beat of a drum.

Unmoving eyes from video game screens,
To the care of guys who want to keep their trucks clean

These passions may seem small,
But to some people they are life.
The intimate expression is exposed on the inside.
