I open up my eyes to these wrongful words
People judging yet again for the color of someone’s skin.
Why can’t they see that God loves us all the same?
These people really need to find Jesus Christ within.

Why do some people judge based on the color of someone’s skin
Yet not on the content of someone’s character?
Because as far as I can see
A black man can be just as capable of success then a white man just as capable of failure.

I look around and I see people hating instead of loving,
Why must their outlook always be negative instead of positive?
They forget that the Black citizens are people with lives, people with feelings, or…just people in general,
And for them to forget about that is just completely insensitive.

So hey, people of the world
Stop hating and start loving
Put your armor down and start accepting peace
Just start loving instead of fighting.

Forget about the color of someone’s skin and start focusing on their character
Make this a task, a job, a lifelong goal.
Stop hating and start loving
For the body appearance is not the person’s soul.

I look around the crowds who are screaming hate
Do they know they’re just wasting their time?
Because we only get one good shot at life
And loving was always meant to be just as hating is a crime.

So hey, people of the world put your armor down
Stop causing trouble everywhere for nothing,
Life’s too short to be living wrong,
So stop hating for nothing and start loving for something.

One day,
Somehow someway,
I can see everyone coming around,
And all the hate has gone away

Yeah that’ll be the Lord’s Day,
So hey, people of the world put you armor down,
Stop spreading hate like there’s nothing to lose
And don’t worry victims living now; I know one day they’ll all come around.
