Peace to Rage

Her mind was set on peace

That way she had it made

She found peace in music and arts

and the dreams she always craved

A wall she built to hide her soul

In the dark towers around her heart

But every day, that wall would crack

And crack till it fell apart

Higher up the wall she built

To protect the peace within

But the cracks still came,

broke down the wall,

And brought the evil in

It grabbed her by the neck and air

And choked out every scream

It stole her soul, destroyed her heart

and brought terror to every dream

Now it consumed her

Inside and out

Forever silencing her scream

Transformed she was into a figure of darkness

Like no one had ever seen

Her soul now blackened,

Her heart burning fire

And her eyes no more holding light

Bloodlust she wanted

And chaos she craved

As she became a beast of the night

But every now and then,

Her sweet memory lingers

Like the chill of a sweet winter's frost

Gone it was now,

No more to be seen

This sweet, loving girl was now lost.
