Coupled with
A wounded heart
Shelter finds
In words and lines
That bring about
Through verse and prose
A peace of mind
That holds a power
And mine alone
To heal and guard
To fight and long
For better days
A new song sung

Once I wrote to please
Now I write for me
To find within
Some clarity
To light raw emotion
Up in flames
A fiery beacon
To reflect those pains

Inside I found
A powerful force
A creationist
Born
A traveler
Soars
All this found
In words and lines
Given to me
