Is a day I want to live to see

Love who you wish to love

Equality

 

The day racism is unheard of

Unless it’s in a textbook

Is a day I want to live to see

No need to judge based on skin color

 

The day our government isn’t corrupt

Is a day I want to live to see

No need to spy on the citizens

No need to waste taxpayer’s dollars

 

Someday there will be that day

That there’s no war, no racism

That everyone has equality and feels safe

I will live to see that day
