This Past Year...

The same old things became too boring;

Too repetitive,

Too every day,

Too much like the last.

We heared the same old stories,

The same old reasons,

We faced the same old situations,

We dealt the same old cards,

We heared the same old lies,

We lost the same old battles,

And still we seemed to make the same old decisions

Have you ever wanted a change, a difference, excitement, or the slightest taste for an adventure…

As I looked outside upon the horizon as the sunset of creamy orange, soft yellow, and blazing blue faded behind the distant mountain, and day soon became dark. I took a deep breath as steam left my lips, and said “Tomorrow is going to be a different day.”
