Paradigm Shift

Things will never be the same

6 feet apart and forever changed

Now we’ll know more than just their names

Cherish our families instead of the famed

Discover some things new

Take care of mental health too

Learn that it's not just the flu

No one knows when it’ll be through

A new normal surely to occur

Workaholics coming undone

Hold dear how free we were

Actually able to enjoy the sun

Lives lost on the daily

Hearts broken across the nation

More people drinking bailey

Prayers lifted for all creation

The world issued a wake up call

Learning to use this time wise

Hopefully over by the fall

A paradigm shift to our lives
