Paint Me In Reality

Paint me like I am
forget the stereotypes forget
judgments
paint me how I am on the inside
cheerful, loving and caring
paint me smiling
paint me dancing
paint me into the horizon
leaving the pain behind, forgetting
about
the world and its problems
paint me with cheerful colors
let them shine in
paint me the perfect daughter
obedient
and without a complaint
paint me a straight A student, the
one
every college wants
paint me the best sister there is, the one that
is always there for their siblings
please paint me
but paint how I am
because my imperfections
create my character
the one who I like
