With Pain Comes Strength...

The pain and struggles of a single mother

From the past experiences, the present won't be able to recover

No way of transportation

long walks each night and day

with two kids to care for

with another baby on the way.

Independence is the only choice

trying to make ends meet

no help from your "boyfriend"

while struggling with cold feet.

Able to eat once a day

going from house to house

surviving for your children that didn't ask to be here on earth

with the power of God protecting the ones that had worth

and was given life for a purpose.

You let him handle it

he fixed it,

you had faith

he cherished it,

you held your strength to your last straw

he then blessed you.

You overcame the darkness

to get to the light and it took

a face full of sorrow

soul full of hope

For a better life for tomorrow.
