and when I say that at a family dinner
my mother chokes a little on her green beans

and interrogate me
I want kids to not be ashamed about sex.
I want the words penis and vagina to be more than just punch lines to a dirty joke.
I want people to be open about their sexuality and accepting of others
I want my mother not to be uncomfortable when I mention the sex ed system
and I want my health book to teach facts, not viewpoints.
