Oz

Do I follow my brains or just my heart?
Wizard, I have been confused right from the start.
Well, I am speaking to thin air,
the only one who is there.
As this path, a winding road
is starting to erode
Yellow bricks lay in my wake
I fell in love for Tin Man's sake,
but nothing beats below his breast,
so to the witch, I must confess:
There is no place just like home.
The lion's mouth begins to foam
as he signals an all out war
with one courageous, boastful roar.
The East and West collide,
I was looking for a ride.
One hot air balloon will do,
enough room for Toto, too.
This tornado's silhouette,
as dark as it will get
overshadows where we're from.
The lion, just a coward; a scarecrow just as dumb,
a heartless man of tin
chases a little girl as eager as the sin.
But that was back in Kansas,
Oh, how everything has changed,
from the Lollipop guild, the realities estranged.
So in three heel clicks, I do trust
I shall leave the pretty land glittered in the dust.
