Overcoming the bully!

She's walking down the hall
Trying not to bawl
She's headed up a flight of stairs
Thinking "who really cares"
She's sitting on her bed
Trying to ignore the voices in her head
She hides behind a mask
And wonders why they don't ask
If she's ok
They call here a hurtful name
And they are the ones to blame
For her feeling this way
Every painful day
She is emotionally scarred
And it's hard
For her to get up
Every morning
She looks in the mirror
And it's hard not to see the fear
In her eyes
She starts to cry
And wants to die
She picks up a knife
To end her life
She looks at her wrist
And wants to be gone with the mist
She drops to her knees
And can hardly breath
She doesn't sob
Because she has a job
To do
She is anxious
To tell her story
She can taste the glory
On her tongue
Because today is the day
Her bullies are put away
She can finally relax
Because it over
No more attacks
She can finally smile
But it will take awhile
For the fear to leave
She wakes up
Goes to school
She can finally breath
And for once she doesn't want to leave
She has overcome the bully!
