Outer Beauty, Inner Wisdom

My façade is a lack of brainpower;

no matter,

just chatter.

Spinning hair,

nothing upstairs,

a vapid mystery,

a cherub to cherish,

a frilly, simple girl,

a pure delight

to weaker eyes.

Hiding intellect

with naivety,

a dreamy gaze

and thickened lips;

plump like heaven,

a ploy for attention.

I’m smart, I’m wise,

but I wear a disguise;

a charming ignorance,

which suits me well

but will not subsist.
