Outdoor Mirror

Dear river,

I love you.

I am jealous.

You are who I wish to be!

You can run forever and you are so happy.

See, that is what I wish I could say.

But in reality,

You are like a Daphne flower,

Beautiful.

But behind what we we all see,

You are also deadly.

In reality,

I don’t love you,

Nor do I hate you.

I have not respected you,

Nor have I disrespected you.

You.

You, are the reason I weep.

I weep.

I weep until there is nothing but breathless hiccups.

You.

You, are the reason I sink.

I sink.

I sink to the bottom of the abyss like the pollution in the ocean.

You.

What is your reason?

The reason you are like this?

First,

like water you are

Uncontrollable,

Carefree,

And destructive.

Second,

like a seedling you are

Weak, and

Dependent,

But yet,

You have the potential to grow.

Don’t fight me on this.

Don’t put yourself so low.

Just because you are a little slow.

By any chance,

are you related to that boy who cried wolf?

Because even your bed doesn’t believe you anymore.

Do you want to dream?

Or

Do you want to be a vegetable?

Choose wisely, as it is inevitable.

Start living your life.

Will it make you feel better if I admit to you my secrets?

I am a rainbow.

I have two friends.

I am depressed

I am anxious.

I love myself.

I hate myself.

I respect myself.

I disrespect myself.

I am you river.

Is it just me projecting myself onto you?

Is this why I am blue?

But,

In reality you don’t exist.

You are my reflection in the river.

In reality you are me.

But,

In reality you River, are just a river.

You can carry many forms,

including mine.

You are my reflection in the water.

A reflection that can riple at anytime.

That is all I see.

But,

We are strong and

We are free, no matter what.

We have have faced destruction from others.

However we will not let that stop us.

You are my reflection.

What is inside me is a heart, and a brain, and lungs, and veins.

I am the real me.

What I see in you is not true.

But, you see we are both forms of life.

I am you

And you are me.

We are one.

I will overcome you,

and finally I will see me for me

in my reflection.

Mr reflection in the

River.

My outdoor mirror.
