Out of Mind, Out of Time

Out of the wind

Out of the wild

Sometimes it hurts
Knowing I'm only a child
But when I'm with you
I feel only desire
For you are the strings to my lyre
I have seen sights beyond compare
When all I wish to do is share
I hope we continue to burn
Our hearts with one flame
Because when you think about it
Only fate is to blame
When I return, our love will swell
And it will be like rising
From the deepest well
I hear the sounds
Of rivers rushing
But think only of a hug so crushing
If only the world were perfect
Then we could forever be
Together as we intersect
With fabled true love
And we shall soar
Like a bright white dove
