Our Freedom

The love of one and one will soon transpire,

into what feels like time can never alter.

But what can result from such a desire,

we hope a friend who shall never falter.

Who's time and thoughts are kindly there at hand,

and we should care for them with equal stength.

And we do lean when they can understand.

But we hold one another up at length,

even when troubles do come and linger so,

patience and care still stay with us tonight.

So much that they are all we seem to know,

never have we looked on the face of fright.

And now I know you well and you know me,

we are together but our souls feel free
