The Other Story

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away,

lived two lonely sisters who were gay,

But her mother did not approve,

she decided that they had to move.

The girls protested both wanting to stay,

they were given no choice but to move away.

Their mother got married to humble man,

though the girls were not a fan.

The mother was vain,

the girls slowly went insain.

They became jealous of their new sister,

jealous of her love with her mister.

A ball soon appeared,

one the two sisters feared.

The mother refused to accept them,

praying that she could change them.

The new sister was not allowed to go,

for fear that she might steal the show.

Straight out of a novella,

who else but Cinderella.
