Order Up

We wake up every day,

Repressed, Oppressed, and Depressed,

about the White Man’s Burden on our lives.

We want action done! We want peace! We want, we want.  Is this america or burger king? Can i ask for a whopper and a value fry on the double please? Supersize my freedoms, then. But when you are handed a mega phone and a picket sign instead of a burger and a drink, your answer always seems to be…not today. Or, ill let someone else take care of it. We expect others to fry up a big mac protest while we pleasantly wait for our justice to be served to us on  silver platter. Well let me tell you something, you may say a lot of ten dollar words and talk a lot of change but America owes us nothing. America does not want us to be loving it! They don’t want us to have it our way! You gotta think outside of the bun of this endless bystander effect. Raise your own voice instead of waiting for it to raise itself. I want this, I want that, and you expect to just drive through and get it, without proper payment? Martin said that America has written out a check for us, why haven’t we cashed it yet? You’re tired of people getting slaughtered then stop slaughtering your own brothers You want peace, then don’t act like the animals of the wild, be the peace to get the peace. You cannot be fed if you are full  YOU WILL NOT be fed if you are full. Full of ignorance, full of fear to speak up for what is wrong, full of doubt, full of excuses…full of orders with no expectation to eat. Can I order a number 1 on the constitution please? What do you mean your out of that? Its so easy to walk into a McDondals and order people around. But hard to walk into a government building and do the same. Easy to sit back, whine, and complain, but when negative results don’t change, you say, “eh well i tried my best”. Too many people are quick to persecute, quick to react, but slow to listen, slow for you rights, stop acting…slow. Sometimes you need to go out and make your own whooper. Because the diseased hands that prepared them for you, might as we have  killed you directly instead.
