Orange Rose

Screaming and yelling

Arguments that happens constantly

Anger that broke the spirit

The infidelity and betrayal exposed

Defending the livelihood

Leaving the situation to be free

Finding out there is no hope

Rain pouring down and trying to ease the pain

The love that was given was just a disguise

Emotions that were played and destroyed

Footsteps hitting the ground hard

Losing the consciousness while on the ground

Left there just not looking for the care or safety

Unknown to what to do and the bullet had pierced the skin

Droplets of blood on the hands that escaped

Looking at the sky and attempt to get up

The adrenaline and pain flushed over

Unable to move and a pulse was faint

Waking up in a room

The sun rising through the window

Dozens of roses with a letter

Nothing can erase the memories

On the cold concrete lifeless

Fleeing the imprisonment of life-threatening danger

Laid out like a dead animal waiting to be eaten

A waterfall of tears down the face

Blood that is drawn out the arm

A heartbeat is there

The heart in millions of pieces

Emotionally shattered

A shadoww appeared in the doorway

Smiling as nothing ever happened

Feels like wrists were tied down to a rock

A nightmare that is coming to an end

The darkness that overcomes the light until the medicine came in

Needles in the body to survive

Life and death hanging in the balance

Questions running through the head

Eyes shot open and the presence of him was gone

Breathing a sigh of relief

Gives a way of healing and moving forward

The worth and confidence that comes back slowly

Mentally independent

Physically ease

Never looking back now
