Opposites Don't Really Attract

Love never hurt so much or felt so good
You were so broke yet so full of passion
I was so lost but still looked for nothing but a friend
Together we were so right but never quite fit
Because opposites don't really attract it only creates friction
An electricity so warm that it has the potential to become a fire but first has to be able to withstand the cold of reality
You were broken
I was lost
Both so use to the cold that we were afraid of the warmth
We loved with all we had but just got burned
Because opposites don't really attract
They have to be pulled together
And neither of us have the strength
