opposites almost attract

I just want to be with you

I need my waist in your grip

Your hair between my fingers

My eyes entrapped by yours

Your breathe on my cheek

I want to feel our heartbeats in sync

I miss your scent in my tshirts

You told me you miss my early morning texts

But, I know we don’t miss us

You were a dark glassy stone

I was a fragile ice wall

Separate we were beautiful, united we were a mess

You were unscratchable

I was crystallized

We were polar opposites unquestionably attracted to each other

I know we don’t miss us

But, you will be my favorite stop

Just not the final destination
