The Ones You Wear

Wipe away all the pain
Erase it all, clean off the shame
Every second, a brand new slate
Start right now, no time to wait
You're the only one, who can decide
On the morals and standards to abide
Only you, can label yourself
Not society, peers or anyone else
You create your own fate, you decide when it's too late
No limits here, unless you put them in place
Slow it down, it's not a race
A life that's yours, it's not to share
It's your own shoes, the ones you wear
